Privacy
Last updated: 22 April 2026
This policy covers apps published by Lloyd Owen on the App Store and Google Play, this website (lloydowen.dev), and websites built and hosted for clients under Lloyd Owen.
The short version: I don't collect personal data, I don't run tracking analytics, and I don't sell anything to anyone.
What I don't collect
- No names, emails, or accounts unless you send them to me directly.
- No advertising identifiers, device fingerprints, or cross-site tracking.
- No third-party analytics tied to personally identifiable information (PII).
- No location, contacts, photos, or device data, unless an app explicitly asks for it to work, and only for that purpose.
What I may collect
Some apps and sites use anonymous, aggregated information to understand basic usage: things like error logs or page view counts. This data is not linked to you personally and cannot be used to identify you.
If you email me or submit a contact form, I'll have your message and any details you chose to share. I use that only to reply to you.
Client websites
Websites I build for clients follow the same principles by default. If a specific client site collects data (for example, a contact form, booking system, or checkout), that client is the data controller and their own privacy notice applies.
Children
My apps and sites are not directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect data from them.
